On Saturday 18th June, Rhys Cameron and Will and Rory Salmon play for Adelaide Uni Rugby Team at Waite oval. It was fantastic to see the boys compete in a sport that is not typically mainstream in South Australia. Congratulations on the win.

Last Saturday Hahndorf Under 12’s played Meadows at Hahndorf oval. St Michael’s had 9 Boys playing in the game. 8 of the year 5 students were playing for Hahndorf with Charlie Shearer taking on his classmates playing for Meadows. Congratulations to the Hahndorf side who had a good win.

 

In Week 8, four students from St Michael’s competed at the State SAPSASA Soccer Carnival. Tyler Weyland, Xavier Kell, Jye Martin and Rebekah Hilton all competed for the BARKER District at the event. Congratulations to you all.

 

For the past two weeks, students in P.E have been participating in a Gymnastics program. It has been great to get the students jumping and tumbling again with some new equipment being purchased through government grants. I am looking forward to adding to our resources and developing the program further in the next few years.
